The journal is assigned for presenting the contemporary research in occupational and environmental health from all over the world, particularly those which could be later used in practice for preventive activities. Contributors from Central and Eastern Europe are especially welcome to introduce their research ideas and achievements for a broad circulation. The bi-monthly is also the forum for publication of the original reports and experience of Polish scientists in the field to spread them at international market. The journal publishes editorials, original papers, communications on occupational and environmental health policy, review and discussion papers, instructive case reports, letters to the Editor and book reviews. Special preference is given to papers concerning industrial hygiene, preventive medicine, diagnosis and treatment of occupational diseases, physiology and psychology of work, toxicological research, environmental toxicology, environmental epidemiology and epidemiological studies devoted to occupational problems.
