Environmental Health and Preventive Medicine will cease to be published by BMC as of 31st December 2021. This submission system is now closed to all NEW submissions as of 1st September 2021. The journal is continuing in cooperation with a new publisher, Komiyama Printing Co. Ltd. To submit your manuscript to Environmental Health and Preventive Medicine, or if you have any questions about the new publisher and any submissions in progress, please contact the Editor-in-Chief at editor-in-chief@kopas.co.jp. BMC will continue to host an archive of all articles previously published in the journal and all articles published in Environmental Health and Preventive Medicine during its time with BMC will remain fully searchable via the BMC website. The official journal of the Japanese Society for Hygiene, Environmental Health and Preventive Medicine (EHPM) brings a comprehensive approach to prevention and environmental health related to medical, biological, molecular biological, genetic, physical, psychosocial, chemical, and other environmental factors. Environmental Health and Preventive Medicine features definitive studies on human health sciences and provides comprehensive and unique information to a worldwide readership. International authors publishing in Environmental Health and Preventive Medicine can request discount of the journal’s article-processing charge (APC) by the Japanese Society for Hygiene if the article is accepted. This must be requested during the article submission process by entering a code that can be obtained from the Society office (jsh@nacos.com).
